Exercise also has a positive impact towards ones mental health and well being. Physical activity is prescribed in treating depression and anxiety, for people who exercise regularly feel less stressed or nervous. Therapists have reported that patients who exercise regularly feel better and less likely to overeat or abuse alcohol and drugs. Moods such as tension, fatigue, anger, and vigor are also positively affected by exercise.
Physical activity not only takes cares of your body but also does a whole lot of good for your mental well being.
PS: More on mental health and well being read the blog entry titled, “Endorphin And Exercise.”
