One Liner
As you now that I am reading various fitness related books on my kindle and a few hard copies. One among them is titled Strong Curves A Woman’s Guide To Building A better Butt And Body–ebook. Two things about the book intrigued me— Jonathan Goodman’s suggestion and the title itself.
Well, you should know that spot reduction is a myth. However, it’s claimed in the book that when it comes to gluteal muscles it’s possible to reshape them. The authors—Bret Contreras and Kellie Davis have an interesting way to say a one liner about this concept in the introduction of the book. I will share the views as I get along the book, for it provides a detailed view, but now the one liner……..
The excerpt
“Abs are made in the kitchen, but glutes are made in the gym.”
Sounds interesting right? Well, let’s see what the authors have to say about this. Moreover, I believe, as a trainer I will have to apply these principles on my gym clients and seek the answer. Gaining knowledge through a book, peer, internet, or coaches is satisfactory, but experiencing it takes you to a new level.
PS: Jonathan Goodman is the author of several books and the founder of PTDC (personal trainer development center).
