My Rant
No wonder numerous food joints thrive in the market, for you drool at the sight of a new hotel or a bakery. You want to savour the cupcakes/junk foods that is displayed in the menu. Also, we never hear any dining restaurants flopping. Why? You are more generous to hotels than gyms. Be it a costly affair to eat a simple dish in a hotel you will never mind to pay, whatsoever. On the flipside, several doubts rise when you are about to join a gym. You resist joining because you think that the gym fee is hefty. You also think instead of joining a gym or yoga you can as well jog. I may agree with that conclusion, but do you really have it in you to sustain in your endeavor? On the other hand, if you sustain, for example, frequent a gym for at least 2 or 3 months it certainly evolves as a habit. It then is a daily ritual and not anymore a painful process.
You, however, ask several questions when you join a gym. As the poster tells, women ask–doesn’t lifting weights make us manly? You also ask, “Coach, how many months does it take to lose … number of weights? I meet several day dreamers who don’t even last a month, but who don’t forget to ask me the above questions. Firstly, I will shout loud—“show up buddy.” Frequent the gym for few months; you will be destined to derive the answers.
It hurts me when my gym clients quit coming. A few of them have concrete reasons to quit and the remaining lot I simply term them quitters. I know that there is monetary benefit involved if people turn up to the gym. Put that reason aside for a moment and look at what you are gaining back when you come to me. You are much healthier and fitter. Isn’t life also about possessing vibrant health? I definitely think so. Joan Welsh rightly says, “A man’s health can be judged by which he takes two at a time—pills or stairs.”
I hope I have not digressed from the topic of discussion. Speaking about lifting weights for women, I hope you are not in the Paleolithic age. Type weight training for women and do a Google search. You will know whether lifting weights make women huge or cupcakes.

I totally agree.
I have reduced weight by 3Kgs in past 40 days without my notice. Every time I check my weight I am inspired to gym regularly and stop having junk food.
Sir! I was already very very guilty as I’m not regular these days due to work pressure.
This article added fuel to fire. No excuses possible! 🙁
