Going Strong At 41

I believe if you are 40 years old or older you are thinking that physical activity should take a back seat. Or perhaps, you are thinking that vigorous physical movement is not for you. However, you will not feel the same when you watch this 41 year old man perform several movements that you cannot execute.
Ross Enamait in his blog posts this video in his blog and says,”Yet, perhaps most importantly, these priceless attributes are not just available to him. Strength is readily available to almost anyone who desires it. Ultimately, it boils down to an individual’s willingness to display hard work, consistency, and dedication. And fortunately, you can work hard regularly without feeling miserable. It is not difficult to see that this man is enjoying himself. He obviously enjoys his time outdoors.”
I feel sick when I see young men and women performing some easy movements day in and day out, for they already feel they are getting older. Especially, men and women post marriage or so invariably pick some easy physical exercise routines, and I see them gaining fat each and every year. How on earth can some effortless routines keep you fit, lean, and strong?
I know that you say to me that moderation is the key. Well, I agree when you say that moderation is the way. However, you are not even performing to half of your potential. I am not asking you to execute hard physical labour. Nonetheless, perform any vigorous physical activity for a stipulated time and then enjoy the benefits of possessing a healthy body. Our bodies, specifically tissues, need physical stress just as you need proteins, fats, and carbohydrates on a regular basis. The human body craves for physical activity. So nourish your body, for you will lose it if you don’t use it.
Moreover, for you to even speak about moderation you will have to have reached the over training phase. For then you can think about coming back to the sweet spot of vigorous physical activity.
Anyway, watch the video.
