What, Dogs Have Diabetes?

Do you know that man’s best friend is also affected by diabetes in the later part of its life?  This is disgusting to know.   Humans have forced their canine companion to get affected by diabetes.  How and  what do you think is the main reason?  Eating way too many calories especially in the means of carbohydrates and physical inactivity.  Dogs have been fed excess amount of calories, for you can view many  of them being obese resulting in joint ailments (arthritis), kidney problems, etc. And when it comes to physical activity, dogs were meant to stroll around but not tied up for ever, which adds up to the problem.

On the same-lines, physical inactivity is one of the major factor among human-beings living in urban areas, who suffer from diseases such as diabetes and blood pressure, which further leads to many other serious health ailments.

What is the way out? Clean up your diet and get physically active, for you can enjoy vibrant health for a very longtime.

  1. Dear vishwa,
shocking revelation indeed! I always thought we, supposedly human alone suffered from these ailments. But now that dogs have these, can cats be behind? I sound cynical, but this is where we seem to be heading. Do you agree?
