You Have To Squat Big To Build Bicep.

There is a popular saying in bodybuilding culture which says “Squat heavy to build bicep.” Yes, a very true statement indeed. Compound movements such as squat, deadlift, clean and press, and bench press are extremely productive as they help release growth hormone and testosterone in the body. Growth hormone and testosterone is important to gain muscle and lose fat, which is very well known through various scientific studies. When any heavy compound moves are executed the amount of stress it puts on your body is of a tremendous magnitude, and your body counteracts to overcome the demand imposed by building more muscle, and how do you build muscle? The release of growth hormone and testosterone is one of the primary reason to build more muscle.
Your workouts should always rotate around compound movements, for you get the biggest bang for the buck. Why do you want to waste your time performing some teeny-weeny exercises? Yes, auxiliary movements do have their purpose, but the primary focus should be on executing compound movements. So, performing innumerable sets of bicep curl and triceps extension is a big no no.
Women also need testosterone in their body’s. Ovaries and adrenal glands share the responsibiliy for testosterone production in a woman’s body. Scientific studies have shown that women need testosterone to build and maintain muscle, strengthen the bone, and increase their sex drive. I know that by now all you women out there would be shouting at me and asking that lifting weights would force them to have a physique like men. Yes, for sure, as women have started lifting weights they will all become buffed like men. OH my God! Should women now stop lifting weights and look feminine? HA! There is no reason for you to worry, for women produce substantially less quantity of testosterone than men. Women produce just a fraction of the amount of testosterone each day that men do, which will never allow them to possess a physique like men, but unless they are using testosterone based steroids. Come on ladies it is high time you lifted weights. You are free to do it, and don’t listen to others who allege that women should not lift weights. If my message doesn’t ring a bell then I hope Google does, for you can search in Google and check for yourself.
PS: Compound movements place a huge demand on the body, for it is very significant to learn proper form and technique before venturing into lift heavy weights.
