Mel Gibson is Right
I believe you might all by now know that consuming omega 3 fatty acids is paramount for your health and well-being. You should also know that omega 3 fatty acids are found in oils of cold water and marine animals. Salmon, trout, mackerel, sardines, and other cold water marine animals are rich source of these fatty acids. In land animals, brain, eyeballs, adrenal glands, and testes are rich in omega 3 fatty acids.
Primitive tribes treasured these organs highly, and consumed them raw immediately after killing the animal. Century’s later science found that these highly nutritious oils deteriorate and spoil rapidly after an animal dies. Does this remind you of something?
Have you watched the movie Apocalypto? In the Mel Gibson’s thoroughly researched movie, tribes hunt and kill a wild animal and share the testes immediately. They jovially claim it to play an important part in one’s reproduction. Well, that may be far-fetched. What matters, however, is that these tribes know that these organs are an integral part of one’s diet, and that they serve a purpose. Moreover, it is fascinating to know that Gibson has at the least tried to capture the significance of the fact.
It establishes that these tribes instinctively know the importance of consuming these organs. Well, on a similar note, when the great Tsunami hit Srilanka, it was factually recorded that many wild animals instinctively climbed hills to save themselves. My question is in the hyper-rational world, can you ever dream of listening to your instinct? I believe we are lost in this world of perpetual bombardment of information. We are forced to believe that the more we know it is for the better, ironically.
