Breanna Bond, aged 9 years has done it. She weighed over 180 pounds and now by her consistent and diligent effort she has lost 66 pounds. Congratulations to Breanna’s parents, for they decided to step in. Instead of neglecting their daughter’s health they decided to change her lifestyle for her own good. The parents of Breanna followed a simple approach: Cut back on her caloric intake and increase her activity. The video highlights the story.
On the same note, I want to say that parents beware. Before your child’s weight outreaches you, you are responsible to control things. Type 2 diabetes, formerly non-insulin dependent diabetes, is rise among children. It is unlikely and unfortunate for a child to get type 2 diabetes, as it is also called adult-onset diabetes. The primary cause being the obesity epidemic in children. Encourage your child to eat healthy foods and exercise regularly to maintain a healthy weight.
Parent, your mission isn’t accomplished by telling your child to eat healthy and exercise regularly; instead remain a role model. Principally, you have to eat healthy foods and exercise regularly and set up an example for your child to progress ahead. Children imitate their parents, so parents be a judicious guiding star. Lois McMaster Bujold says, “Children might or might not be a blessing, but to create them and then fail them was surely damnation.” Do you want to fail them?
