Inspiration from Cody Colchado

This is truly inspirational. Do you know that Cody Colchado is legally blind and deaf? Yes it is indeed true. Cody is also an embodiment of humanity. He says, “When I lift weights, I visualize all the people with disabilities who I’ve met over the years. I hear their voices and they lift the bar with me.”
Likewise, he has the courage to move on despite the unfortunate circumstances. You should know that he is neither entitled to hear the applause nor see the weight he’s lifting. Moreover, his lifting prowess is astounding. In this powerlifting meet in 2010 he has totaled 1510 pounds: bench press 410 pounds, and squat and deadlift 550 pounds.
This reminds me of the quote by Mark Twain, the famous American author. He says, “Keep away from those who try to belittle your ambitions. Small people always do that, but the really great make you believe that you too can be great.” I will place Cody as one of the greats.
