Most of us miss the road to success just because we don’t have the grit to persevere. I am here referring to success in gym parlance. You would want to lose weight but you cannot; you would want to compete in your respective sporting event but you cannot; you would want to build strength and muscle but you cannot. Why and what do you think is the reason? You simply don’t have it in you to persevere. For example, the journey to weight loss is extremely tedious and laborious. You do not have shortcuts. Perhaps, there are shortcuts like consuming a fat burner, following a crazy diet protocol, and still worst is that you starve to lose weight because you think it is sane to do so.
You sit on a table chatting with your friends and tell them that you are going to lose 10 pounds. Still worse is that people come to me and speak about fat loss, quite inspired, and ask me the road map to lose weight. Regrettably, they simply don’t have it in them to hang on. Firstly, I ask them to be regular to the gym but they cannot do it. Let us assume that you are regular to the gym, but then you don’t want to quit smoking and drinking alcohol. And also you do not want to stop consuming the wrong foods. But you want to reach your goal.
Now, what I want you to do is to STUDY the above quote by Will Smith, one of the greatest actor. Read it aloud. Understand its meaning. For, to be successful in any endeavor, you have to start from the scratch and slowly but steadily move towards the goal. Above all, you need to persevere till you build the biggest, baddest, and greatest wall. Of course, building a wall refers to building a rock solid body, which you dreamt off.
